Play Therapy can help children express their feelings, needs, struggles, and strengths. We will use various forms of play, including the sand tray, pretend house, puppets, role playing, toys, games, and art. In Play Therapy, we will practice identifying feelings, expressing needs, being patient, increasing concentration, problem solving, social skills and empathy. As and therapist and Infant & Toddler Mental Health Specialist, I know how to reach young children and how to help them thrive. Play Therapy and the therapeutic process is designed to meet your family’s specific needs. Parents are encouraged to participate in parent coaching and family therapy as well to help support the child.
